This Earth Day, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ is proud to be recognized on??list. This marks the?second consecutive year?³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ has received this distinction, reflecting continued progress in reducing?the company¡¯s?carbon footprint, increasing renewable energy procurement, and advancing toward sustainability targets.
This recognition builds on several other recent honors. Over the past year, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ has been acknowledged for its strong sustainability and ethics practices, including being named one of?Ethisphere¡¯s?Most Ethical Companies,?earning recognition as one of?America¡¯s Most Responsible Companies,?and achieving?CDP Sustainability Supplier Engagement Leader?status.?Together, these accolades underscore?the?commitment?³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ makes?to responsible business practices across?its?operations, supply?chain?and products.?
Product Sustainability and Power Efficiency
The?use?phase?of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ products?accounts?for?the majority of?its?corporate?carbon emissions, making power efficiency a critical sustainability priority. To address this, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ has set a goal to?reduce Scope 3?emissions?from the use of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ products by 55%?per petabyte per second by FY30, from an FY22 baseline.
³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ conducts comprehensive product life cycle assessments (LCAs) for selected?products to?identify?opportunities to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across the product life cycle.?As of FY25,?³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ?reduced?its?Scope?3?GHG emissions by 16%.??
Enhancing power efficiency across the entire product life cycle is therefore a core focus.?By?optimizing?both power and performance, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ designs products that consume less energy than prior generations while delivering higher performance, thereby?advancing sustainability?objectives?while meeting customer demands for increasingly?power?constrained?environments.

Over the past several years, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ has significantly increased the integration of sustainability considerations into product development. In?FY25, 63% of product intellectual property (IP) submissions incorporated?sustainability?related?criteria, reflecting the growing role of sustainability in product design decisions.
Leveraging deep technical?expertise?and scale, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ engineers continue to develop innovative designs that improve power efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Examples include products that deliver substantial?power savings, enable?lower energy intensity per bit of data processed, reduce the use of?IEC?regulated?substances, and support product reuse and recycling.
Operational?Decarbonization?
In addition to product innovations, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ has made?significant progress?in its own operations. In?FY26, approximately?97% of global electricity?consumption?at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ?was sourced?from?renewable electricity, resulting in an?86% reduction in carbon emissions from direct operations?compared to the FY22 baseline. This achievement surpassed?the?corporate?science-based?target?six years ahead of schedule.?
Responsible Supply Chain
Life cycle analysis shows that the largest GHG?impacts occur?during supplier manufacturing operations.?As a fabless semiconductor company, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, therefore, works closely with?third?party?suppliers to reduce GHG emissions and support a resilient and responsible supply chain that meets both regulatory and customer sustainability expectations.?
³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ integrates environmental expectations into supplier requirements and collaborates with partners to drive improvements across energy use, emissions management, and operational efficiency.
Earth Day is a reminder that sustainability is interconnected across products, operations, and supply chains. Through?power?efficient?technology, responsible sourcing, and operational decarbonization, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ is advancing technologies that meet today¡¯s?product?performance needs while reducing energy use and supporting?long?term?sustainability goals.?
