Matt Murphy is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ Technology, where he has led the company¡¯s evolution into a global leader in data infrastructure semiconductors for the AI era. Since joining ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ as CEO in 2016, Matt has transformed the company from a provider of storage and consumer-focused solutions into a leading data infrastructure technology company, driving innovation, accelerating growth, and creating significant shareholder value.

Under Matt¡¯s leadership, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ has built a comprehensive portfolio spanning custom silicon and end-to-end connectivity technologies for cloud, data center, and AI infrastructure. He has also strengthened ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ¡¯s culture of innovation, execution, and talent development while building high-performing teams around the world.?

A strong advocate for mentorship and leadership development, Matt has created opportunities for the next generation of engineers and business leaders through programs focused on early-career talent, management training, technical career advancement, and executive development. Matt also established ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ¡¯s formal global philanthropy program. Together, this focus on innovation, execution, talent development, and culture has contributed to recognition as a Great Place to Work and multiple honors from the Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), including the ¡°Most Respected Public Semiconductor Company¡± award.

Prior to ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏ, Matt spent more than 20 years at Maxim Integrated, advancing through senior leadership roles across engineering, sales, marketing, and general management. He served as Executive Vice President of Business Units and Sales and Marketing, with responsibility for all product development and go-to-market activities. Earlier roles included Senior Vice President of the Communications and Automotive Solutions Group and Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing.

Matt is widely recognized as a leader within the semiconductor industry. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) and previously served on the GSA Board of Directors, including as GSA Board Chairman. He also served as Chairman of the SIA in 2018 and is the first executive to have served as Chairman of both the SIA and the GSA. Matt served on the Board of Directors of eBay Inc. from March 2019 to June 2022 and is a Trustee of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Foundation.

His executive achievements include recognition as Best CEO in the semiconductor sector by Institutional Investor¡¯s All-America Executive Team, the Silicon Valley Business Journal¡¯s C-Suite Award for CEO of a Large Public Company, and inclusion in the Silicon Valley Business Journal¡¯s ¡°40 Under 40.¡±

Matt earned a B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program.
